It looks like an expresso both in size and color but it's incredibly smooth. I think this is my favorite of all the tassimo's that I've tried so far (even better then Vulopso). It also doesn't come out boiling hot which is different from all the others I've tried. While I sidelined my machine for a while in favor of less expensive alternatives, I recently resurrected my Tassimo for convenience and as an alternative for the more costlier options that I seemed to be moving toward, and the Jacobs Krönung selection in my opinion is the best option. Great aroma, pleasant taste, and enough caffeine to get me going for my morning run. Other reviewers here are correct that the amount of coffee that each "T DISC" brews is less than what the average American probably expects.
