It is not. As long as you make the default size (about 7 oz.) it is great. I used to make my hot chocolate using nothing but milk and Ghiradelli Double Chocolate Cocoa Mix. This is also a great product, but no where near as convenient as Tassimo/Suchard hot chocolate. The Ghiradelli hot chocolate does taste better, but Suchard is of high enough quality that I now choose it for the convenience. The chocolate "milk" that is frothed up with hot water from the Tassimo does a decent job.Note #1: If you press the button that makes a larger cup it does so by adding more hot water. This will dilute the chocolate "milk" and produce a weaker beverage. (I know, this should be obvious.) Maybe this is what the previous reviewer was doing? Note #2: Check the pricing for a 2 pack versus the 5 pack. We've tried instant, we've tried our daughters K-Kup makers hot chocolate, and it's weak with very little flavor. We are so glad we have a Tassimo so that we can enjoy the Suchard Hot Chocolate. It has a deep chocolate taste. Not the watered down variety so many of the other brand brewers have to offer. |
